Have you ever met a person who seemed to have influence wherever they went and with whomever they met? Someone universally admired, respected and with that rare power to get others to effortlessly follow their lead?
Social science research from Harvard and Princeton has shown that these rare individuals exhibit a combination of two key qualities that explain their influence.
Recently the Peoplecorp team spent a day offsite to understand this better. Michelle Rushton from People of Influence took us through The Smiling Ox Paradox® program, and we revealed what these two qualities are – Strength & Warmth.
We unpacked this and focussed on how to use these traits to elevate our influence. As professionals who get our results with and through other people, this session helped us understand the science of human interactions in an entirely new way.
The session allowed all of the Peoplecorp team to level up the way they show up for greater cut through, influence and effectiveness.
