What made you get into recruitment?
Like most recruiters I fell into it. I commenced in a TA Admin role for a large global facilities company and before I knew it I was doing end to end recruitment and owning my own portfolio. From there, I decided to dip my toes into agency recruitment to push myself out of my comfort zone and overall better my recruitment skills.
What do you enjoy most about the profession?
The variety! No two days are the same, I start my morning and have no idea where the day will take me or what will happen
What do you like least?!
Recruitment is a rollercoaster. It is filled with so many highs and lows – I never know whether I should be popping a bottle or curling up in bed with a massive cake feeling sorry for myself!
What do you love about your job?
The people. I get to engage with so many different individuals on a daily basis from a variety of backgrounds which keeps the job interesting.
What are you most proud of?
Being able to stay in Australia for as long as I have so far… The Australian government certainly don’t make it easy for us expats.
Please tell us something that most of our Clients and Candidates would not know about you?!
I own a pair of heels and matching blazer in just about every single colour.
You have 3 wishes. You can use one professionally, one personally and the other however you choose! What would they be?
Professionally – I wish all placements were easy and no curve balls were thrown for at least 3 months.
Personally – I wish I could move all of my family & friends out here.
My final wish would be to travel with an unlimited budget.
