THE ORGANISATION
Our client is a renowned US logistics firm with operations across Australia and New Zealand. With an extensive employee base that continuous to grow this is a unique opportunity to support the team for a period of 12-months. Based in Sydney’s Western Suburbs in a business district with parking onsite.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Regional HR Manager, your primary focus will be managing an employee relations caseload across multiple business locations. A significant part of this role involves providing expert advice and guidance to managers, as well as conducting investigations when required. You will work closely with the HR Manager to escalate relevant matters, track all cases, and report on trends to senior leaders. In addition to employee relations, this role includes generalist HR activities and participation in project work, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the HR function.
THE CRITERIA
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Extensive expertise in Employment Law, coupled with demonstrated experience managing a diverse and high-volume Employee Relations (ER) caseload.
- Proven experience working within a large, fast-paced organization, ideally with a mix of blue-collar and white-collar environments.
- A pragmatic and collaborative approach, with strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
